Royal Vienna Monk Beer Stein, Beehive Mark
This Royal Vienna porcelain beer stein titled satisfying (Zufrieden) has a handpainted scene of a jolly monk having a beer in the front and on the lid. Underneath the lid is a portrait of a lady in a hat. There is a crown thumb button, and gold enameling over the cobalt field color. On either side of the handle there are two facing gryphons. There is the Royal Vienna Beehive mark on the bottom as well as the word Dresden along with the lamb mark. It measures 6" tall X 5.5" across.
Condition Report: very good, some wear to the gilding on the handle noted
