With hand painted classical scene surrounded by a deep red and gilt border. Verso with blue 'beehive' or shield mark hand painted over the glaze in blue enamel. With impressed number 860, and hand painted in black enamel: 860/1907/27 cm. No chips, cracks, or hairlines. Minor wear to gilt especially at edge. Two small hanging holes in foot rim. Approx. 9 1/4" diameter.
