Rudolf Schlichter (Calw 1890 - 1955 Munich), 'Female nude', Pencil on paper. 58.3 x 45.7 cm (sheet). Signed lower right: R. Schlichter, titled bottom left: Weibl. Act (pencil). Verso handwritten : L-876 and 282 (pencil). Glass framed. With the certificate of Dr. Sigrid Lange, Bonn, dated 11.8.2019. She explains: 'The drawing - in earlier mentions also titled seated female act - can be attributed to the work of Rudolf Schlichter due to the artistic style and the artist's signature. (...) The drawing has to be dated to the 1920s (around 1925) because of its stylistic details. The work comes from Galerie Hasenclever and is documented there by a photograph. Already in 1978, the drawing is in a leaflet of the gallery Brockstedt with the number 50 - but with different dimensions - recorded.
