The only bladed weapons, really used in combat during the Second World War, were the "Katana" and the "Shashka". Total length: 90 cm Handle length: 13. 5cm Blade length: 87. 7 cm This magnificent shashka saber has the official Zlatooust '' 1942 ZIK '' markings of approval. We also find the letter '' P '' on the handle and '' U '' on all parts of the scabbard. The star of the Soviet Union is still present on the handle. This is made of brass and wood. The blade is in superb condition, very solid. This very rare saber is in good condition. The saber here first belonged to a Soviet officer. 100% original and rare saber!
