Elegant silver sugar tongs with polychrome enameled traditional Pan-Slavic design, marked with the Second Kokoshnik mark of a detailed female head facing right and silver fineness 88 zolotniki with "X" mark for export inside an oval oblong cartouche, city mark of Moscow, additional small Kokoshnik mark and maker's mark "XK" in Cyrillic on the inside; weighs 20.9 gm.
Russian silver objects with 88 and 91 zolotniki were used on higher quality works; when standard was to use 84 zolotniki.
Condition: Good, light tarnish and polish residues.
