Russian trinket, jewel box egg, created after the original Spring Flowers Egg made by Carl Faberge for the Russian Royal Family. Enamel & gilt over pewter with encrusted Austrian crystals. The egg opens at the top ( with magnetic closure ) to reveal an enameled interior & a tiny basket of crystal-encrusted Spring flowers ( with magnet to hold it in place ) that can be removed so the egg can be used for storing trinkets or jewels. 3 1/2" H X 1 3/4" D.
