Russian silver salt cellar-throne in the neo-Russian style from the workshop of A. Ivanov. MOSCOW, 1895. With a wide slotted back, where around a solar disk with belts of geometric and floral ornaments, firebirds are symmetrically assembled under the ridges of gable roofs and ornamental arcs. The lid on a piano hinge bears a vignette of a floral pattern with a double-row engraved dedication: 1875-XXV-1900. Dear KMM. And continued on the inside: - from grateful factory workers. The trapezoidal body of the salt shaker is decorated with a three-part gilded belt in honor of vine weaving and rests on four stepped legs with gilded edging. Moscow hallmarks of 84 hallmark silver, assay master Anatoly Apollonovich Artsebashev, 1895, and master AIs hallmark in a rectangle on the base of the salt shaker. On the inside of the lid: the masters mark and the Moscow hallmark of the last quarter of the 19th century. Also the masters initials and the coat of arms of Moscow on one of the fields of the solar disk. Height 11.9 cm, width. cm 10, weight 166 gr.
