SCARCE 38-30 COLT MODEL 1878 REVOLVER

SERIAL 50286. BARREL 7.5" CALIBER .38-40. MADE IN 1903. The 38-40 was one of the scarcer caliber's in this model. Only 1732 Model 1878 Colts were made in this caliber in all barrel lengths and finishes. This is a fine example that retains approximately 70% original nickel with balance a smooth brown patina with some light bubbling on cylinder. Fine action and bore. Grips are excellent.
