Interesting 17th-century painting probably of the Bolognese school of Ludovico Carracci, of excellent pictorial quality, depicting the Immaculate Virgin that towers over the saints Carlo Borromeo, SAntonio Abate, a holy bishop and Moses. At the foot there is a wild boar that, in the iconography of the time, represents the defeated devil. Carracci's intent was to train new artistic talents, with both practical and cultural education, a modern concept of school. The stretcher is coeval to the painting, size 53 x 41 cm in total (the painting has an antique wood profile and does not need a frame) , in good condition with normal signs of ageing, purchased in an antique shop.
