“Edvard Grieg akkompagnerer fru Nina Griegs sang”. A portrait of Edvard Grieg and his wife Nina at the piano. Signed and dated in print P. S. Krøyer 1899. Inscribed Nr. 51. Etching. Visible size 40.5×50.

The etching is based on a painting that P. S. Krøyer painted in 1898. It is owned by the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm (inv. NM 1571). Krøyer received the gold medal for his etchings at the World's Fair in Paris 1900.

Condition Report:
Minor creases, discolourations, and some foxing. One minimal hole. Examined in frame.
