designed as a platinum peacock feather set with brilliant-cut and baguette diamonds weighing 8.60 ct overall centring an oval spinel weighing 2.33 ct highlighted with yellow gold. Signed Cirio, Torino. Circa 1960.
The jewel, entitled "Povero Pavone-Piuma Ondeggiante", part of the "I Primitivi" collection, was created for the Persian Scià. The brooch, thanks to a mechanical trick, can be used as a central collier piece or tiara.
