STS-131 Flown Very Lightweight Headset

Very Lightweight Headset (VLHS) unit flown on STS-131, identified by a label on the cable, "VLHS S S/N 5550, SED16101291-313." These headsets were used on the Space Shuttle, and International Space Station. They utilize a thin metal headband. The total weight as shown is 2.9 ounces. Crew members have the option of adding a foam ear pad if desired. The pad would probably have been discarded post flight, and is not included. In very fine condition. Accompanied by an anti-static bag for storage, bearing an affixed label noting an acquisition cost of $127.17. Includes a copy of the NASA disposal record listing this headset as flown on STS-131.
