San Leucio Opificio double bedspread in damask silk - Louis XVI Style - Silk
Antique and beautiful light blue damask silk bedspread from the late 19th century. It comes from an old family trousseau and was manufactured by the famous San Leucio factory. It is a sumptuous and elegant bedspread, finished with a fine hand-braided onion-shaped trimming, which is now as rare as the bedspread itself, in Louis XVI style. Unfortunately, the photos, due to the reflections of the light, do not show the true colour of this bedspread. In photo no. 3 I was able to highlight the natural colour of this bedspread, which turns out to be a vibrant blue. Simply stunning! In excellent condition, never used, clean.
