Sassanian Inscribed Stamp Seal with Lion's Head

3rd-7th century AD. A chalcedony stamp seal with domed body; engraved to the underside with a facing lion head, wings beneath and Pahlavi script to the top; accompanied by a museum-quality impression. See Gyselen, R.
