A, Akira Hiro grew up with the traditions of her Japanese homeland in the foreign environment of American pop culture. For her, the question of original identity becomes the driving force in the search for her own artistic visual language. In doing so, she increasingly uses fragments of disparate formal elements, which she assembles into a coherent pictorial language.
