Ming Dynasty - Gilt Lacquered Bronze Sculpture - Seated Mythical Hero Left hand holding a gourd. Wearing a court robe Beautiful time honed patina. Loss and wear commensurate with great age including faded gilt and lacquer. Some apertures. Minor dents, casting flaws and surface wear as seen in photos. Well done affixing statue to block of wood to solidify to stand nicely and securely. Please see photos. Statue is stable. No further chips, cracks or repairs detected.
