Sculpture, Female saint - Walnut - 17th century
Beautiful carved large image of a female saint, presumably she holds the stalk of a martyr palm in her left hand. Probably coming from France considering the use of walnut wood. The image has some repairs and minor damage. The (suspected) palm branch in her hand is gone. A few pieces have been updated at the back, possibly because the image was first part of a bigger whole. The height of the sculpture is approx. 60 cm.
