Sculpture, Finely carved putti / angels with wings (2) - Baroque style - Wood - Second half 19th century

Finely carved putti / angels with wings and trombone. Tiny details are finely crafted. Great movement with a nice sway. Carved wood, painted in colour and gold-plated. The original painting and gilding has been reworked, repainted and restored in places. No loose areas of the setting (sits firmly) . Old adhesive spots on 2 fingers and an end piece of the veil lost. A wing loosely inserted. Otherwise no flaws or damage. The gilding was partially renewed. Probably Italy, 19th century From a private Southern German collection. The angels will be packed well and shipped insured.
