Buddha worshipper made of lacquered teak wood, with some gilding marks, Burma, Yangon. Approximately 50 years old, the lacquer coat is probably more recent. Purchased in situ in Rangoon in the early 2000s. These objects were placed by followers in temples and monasteries, to pay tribute to Buddha. This statue features a child face, which is very rare, with a very soft and serene expression. In fairly good condition, with some cracks, especially on the foot (see pictures) . It will be packaged with care and shipped with track & trace via Bpost.
