A male Lobi sculpture, an early carving tradition of the Kampti style, which was probably a migration from the Ivory Coast, less rounded and more geometric in its shape than the later well-known Kampti figures, one exemplare of this carver we saw recently in the Scanzi Private collection in Abidjan; heavy, hard sankolo wood, some small insect damages at the neck and one the back of the sculpture.
