Horse’s head made of white Carrara marble finely carved in classic style. It is placed on a turned base in white Carrara marble, from which it can be detached. Dimensions including base: h 40 x 30 x 13 cm, weight: 13 kg. It is part of an array of museum-like works, created at Todini’s laboratory of Tarquinia. In 2011, the Lazio region classified Todini as a workshop “of high aesthetic and cultural value” and granted the use of an origin and quality mark. In 2015 the Osservatorio dei Mestieri d’Arte in Florence (OMA) included the workshop in the list of excellence of Italian trades. Insured shipping via express courier.
