Flemish school, mid-19th century, character in armour drawing his sword, oil on canvas, 101. 5 x 91. 5 cm. In a sumptuous frame with a wide and thick band, adorned with naturalistic motifs in relief with a golden patina, 131. 5 x 101. 5 x12 cm (some defects) . In good general condition: presumable old conservative restoration with repositioning in the stretcher sized for the frame, as can be seen from the folded canvas on the back; more recent restoration to remedy a small tear. Accurate packaging and tracked shipping guaranteed. Shipping costs and times for some Italian and foreign destinations may be higher than indicated.
