The biblical scene is depicted here with the figure of the Saint who draws out a young man from darkness (death) , and at the same time he turns his ecstatic gaze towards the Angel, to whom he asks for grace. The painting, preserved in good condition, has an old relining on an antique stretcher. Coeval frame. Field of Giuseppe Bazzani, purely indicative reference. Italy, 18th century. The dimensions are: 58 x 47 including the frame, 47 x 35 the canvas alone.
