Oil on canvas, XVIII century. It depicts the Divine Child, European school. Unique, rare and of high quality, with many symbols. In the left hand the banner of the resurrection, under the feet of the devil, on the table is the skull (Vanitas, Adam) , which also has the value of Memento Mori, the snake symbol of original sin and the vase of flowers symbol of the transience of human existence. On the robe there are the symbols of passion: the three nails, the crown of thorns, the pliers, the hammer, the dice, the scourge, the spear, the sponge, the chalice, the rooster, the ladder, the column, the lantern, the bag of coins and the sword. Original spruce stretcher, lacquered frame. Canvas size: 50 x 40 cm; size with frame: 58 x 48 cm. Very bright and vivid colours. In excellent condition.
