Roman school by Francesco Trevisani (Capodistria 1656-Rome -1746) - oil on canvas depicting an allegory of winter represented by a strong old man sitting under a curtain who, naked with only a bandage on his head, having lowered the cloak that is supported by an angel, warms up to a brazier from which high flames rise, imitated on the opposite side by a seated child and a standing companion wrapped in small cloaks. In the background a hill with a village. Painting in good condition, professionally restored. The painting comes with a frame, which is offered as a gift.
