This rare design would appear to be a prototype, or possibly produced for a specific commission. The hand-cast Dallux acrylic diffusers, suspended vertically and fixed to a rotating column, may be traced back to the brief line of table lamps designed by Mouille and distributed by SINMA from 1963.
Medium: Enamelled steel, brass, and hand-cast acrylic
Size: 104.375" x 8.5" x 28.75" (including mounting bracket); (265 x 22 x 73 cm)
Condition: Excellent original condition. Resin panels with some scattered transfer scuffs, scratches, surface scuffs, and dents to edges. Three panels with chipped losses to one exposed corner (some panels overlap and the corners cannot be inspected). Metal pole at center with some chipped losses to coating near base, with oxidation to the exposed areas. As per our conditions of sale, all electrical items are sold for decorative purposes only, and are not guaranteed to be working.
