Late 18th century, English, sterling silver, set of 4 master salts. George III, hallmarked London, 1794, maker's mark of Thomas & Robert Makepeace. Round bowls with gadroon rims and fire gilt interiors on stemmed base with gadroon borders and molded edges. Side of bowls engraved with a farmer with scythe crest. Approx. 2.5" H, 3.375" Dia., 20.92 ozt total weight. Provenance: From the Private Collection of Mrs. Patricia Schuckmann, Roswell, Georgia.
Condition Report: One salt with base out of round/dented. Some wear to fire gilding.
