Set Art Exhibition Advertising Posters Andersen

Set of five original vintage art exhibition advertising posters. 1. Stoneware / Stentoj by Mogens Andersen 5- 20 October 1973 at the Royal Porcelain Factory / Den Kongelige Porcelainsfabrik Amagertorv 6 Copenhagen - featuring an abstract drawing in blue and black with initials MA below it. Mogens Helge Thestrup Andersen (1916-2003) was a Danish painter producing figure paintings, French Modernism and Abstract art artworks, developing unique style of dark arabesques on a light background. Very good condition, minor creasing, small tear on the top margin, tape on reverse. Country of issue: Denmark, designer: Mogens Andersen, size (cm): 86.5x58, year of printing: 1973.; 2. Bevaegelige billeder / Moving pictures by a Danish painter and sculptor Ib Geertsen (1919-2009) at Nodjyllands Kunstmuseum / North Jutland Art Museum held 14 February - 5 September 1982, featuring a bright design of yellow, red, and blue drop shapes set over orange and yellow background. Good condition, creasing, tear in the top left corner, fold in the top right corner. Country of issue: Denmark, designer: Ib Geertsen, size (cm): 100x62, year of printing: 1982.; 3. 1985-1986 Theatre season at Betty Nansen Teatret / Betty Nansen Theatre in Copenhagen, presenting Glengarry Glen Ross by David Mamet, Murray Schisgal's To x to er to, and Blood Brothers / Blodbrodre a musical by Willy Russel. The poster features a bright colourful artwork by Jan Sivertsen, of a shield like shape in pink, blue, red, and yellow shades. Printed by Clot. Bramsen & Georges a Paris. Very good condition, light creasing, browning on the bottom margin. Country of issue: Denmark, designer: Jan Sivertsen, size (cm): 86x59, year of printing: 1985.; 4. Gronningen Charlottenborg 50 by Svend Johansen (1890-1970), featuring an illustration of a red haired lady in a black dress and high heeled shoes standing in between the Gronningen Charlottenborg signs and holding number 50, signature in the bottom right corner. The poster is possibly to celebrate 50 years anniversary since the establishment of a Danish artists cooperative - Gronningen, founded in 1915. Svend Johansen was a Danish painter, scenographer and illustrator. Very good condition, small tears on the left margin. Country of issue: Denmark, designer: Svend Johansen , size (cm): 85x62, year of printing: 1965.; 5. Borgen Artist cover / Kunstneromslag at The Museum of Art and Design / Kunstindustrimuseet Bredgade 68 held 9 January - 11 March 1979, featuring an illustration of buildings in brown and blue with decorative wavy patterns in gold around them and stylised writing with brick pattern below. Printed by EKS Skolens Trykkeri. Excellent condition. Country of issue: Denmark, designer: Unknown, size (cm): 84.5x53, year of printing: 1979.
