Set of Six French Carved Oak Louis XVI Style Dining Chairs, 20th c. the canted curved floral carved crest rail over an upholstered back to a shield shaped bowed seat, on turned tapered reeded legs in floral striped yellow and beige upholstery, with iron tack decoration, H.- 36 1/2 in., W.- 19 1/4 in., D.- 20 in.
Condition Report: Condition consistent with age and use. Chair 1 – Some wear to needlepoint, some fraying present on seat. Chair 2 – One 3 in. diameter stain. Chair 3 – Some stains and a tear in needlepoint. Chair 4 – Stains and tear present in seat. Chair 5 – Stain and tear to needlepoint. Chair 6 – Nothing to report. Wood frames, also nothing to report other than some normal areas of wear to finish.
