Set of four Queen Anne walnut side chairs, probably Boston, circa 1750. Together with two bench made replicas to form a set of six. Yoke crest with vase backs, slip seat and cabriole legs on pad feet with turned stretchers. Purchased from Fred J. Johnston, Aug. 2, 1989, receipt accompanies lot. 40” Height 22” width 18 depth. Typical wear, corner braces replaced, old loss of portion of rear foot on one chair. From the David Thomas Collection
