Seven Amstel porcelain teabowls, c.1785, blue script marks and incised marks, painted with pastoral vignettes with figures at various pursuits in landscapes with trees, monuments, buildings, livestock and ruins below elaborate gilt borders, the interiors each with a flower-spray, 7.4cm diameter (7) Provenance: Works of Art from the Schroder Collection.
With the exception of two teabowls, which each have a crack from the rim (one of these is a branching crack), overall these teabowls are in good condition. There are some areas of wear to the gilt line rims and the surrounding area – this is to be expected and is minor.
