Sevres style Chinoiserie double handled wine cooler, Seaux à Demi-Bouteilles Ordinaires, circa 1900. After the very desirable black chinoiserie service with charming scenes of gold and platinum pagodas on a black ground that imiate lacquer work. What appears to be very fine replica after the original 18th Century Sevres wine cooler. An almost identical pair of Sevres wine coolers are on display at the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles, California. Unmarked.
