A Shiwan kiln statue of a fisherman sitting on a rock from the 18th - 19th century. The fisherman is touching his beard and is seated next to a basket. One hand is movable. The robes are blue, white, and yellow glaze.
Dimensions are: 7 5/8 inches tall X 7 1/2 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: It is in good overall condition. The man's hair seems to have broken off and his right hand is loose.
Provenance: From a Toronto, Canada collector who collected all of the antiques in Hong Kong prior to the 1970s.
