This oil painting features an Impasto finish, thick oils, probably applied with a palette knife. The 15" X 19" landscape is done in browns, tans, greys, greens, and blues, in an almost impressionist style. A lone tree is silhouetted in a mountain landscape, overlooking more of the same, or perhaps even the ocean. The work is signed, lower right, in white, but that signature is impossible, for us to read. The painting comes in its original simple walnut frame, 18" X 22". In excellent condition.
