Signed 20th C. Native American Pueblo Blackware Vessels

**First Time At Auction**

Native American, Southwest US, 20th century. A lovely ensemble of five blackware vessels by various esteemed Pueblo potters, four of which are signed. Anita Martinez (b. ca. 1920s - 1992) of the San Ildefonso Pueblo created the piriform pot with a feather motif adorning the shoulder; Clara Suarez of the Santa Clara Pueblo created the piriform vessel adorned with a band of feather motifs superimposed by a band of additional stylized motifs and a petite opening atop; Angelita R. Coriz of the Santo Domingo Pueblo created the near miniature vessel with incurved walls adorned by stylized X motifs, and Julia Gutierrez of the Santa Clara Pueblo created the petite vessel adorned with a solid black glaze. Size of Anita Martinez vessel: 4.125" in diameter x 3.625" H (10.5 cm x 9.2 cm)
