Probably E. Flajoulot, Paris. With going-barrel movement, bellows and whistle, the bird with iridescent plumage, articulated metal beak, wings, tail and swiveling perch, in silver case with pierced gilt grille, scroll feet and cobalt-blue guilloche enamel panels relieved with corner rosettes and detailed silver-gilt rosebud screws, wd. 4 3/8 x ht. 2 1/4 in. (11 x 6 cm), bird missing one eye. With bird-form key. - An unusual singing bird box of striking design, in good working condition.

Mit Federwerkmotor, Balgen und Pfeife, Vogel mit schillerndem Gefieder, Metallschnabel, Flügel und Schwanz, alles beweglich, auf drehender Stange; filigrane Abdeckung, graviert mit Blattranken, Silbergehäuse auf Ballenfüßen, guillochierte kobaltblaue Emaille-Paneele mit Eckrosetten und vergoldeten Schrauben in Rosenform, Maße 11 x 6 cm. Dem Vogel fehlt ein Auge. Mit Schlüssel in Vogelform. - Eine ungewöhnliche Singvogeldose, sehr auffälliges Design, guter funktionierender Zustand.
