A silver pendant with a Byzantine coin depicting Christ. The coin is one of the first to depict Jesus Christ! Byzantine Empire, reign of John I, AD 969 - 976, Bronze Follis, Class A1 type. Coin depicts Christ facing with book of gospels, the back side with 'Jesus Christ king of kings' in four lines of Greek. The coin is set into a beautiful .925 silver bezel and comes with an 18 in (45.6 cm) Italian silver chain. Total bezel diameter is 27 mm.
