Silver-plated Art Deco cutlery - 40-piece/6-person - Sola, the Netherlands circa 1930
A silver-plated Art Deco cutlery, manufactured by the Dutch Sola in the 1930s. The cutlery can accommodate 6 people and contains a 4-piece serving cutlery in addition to dinner and breakfast cutlery. The parts have a beautiful stair-shaped pattern with clean lines. Consisting of: - 6 dinner spoons - 6 dinner knives - 6 dinner forks - 6 breakfast spoons - 6 breakfast knives - 6 breakfast forks - Soup ladle - Gravy spoon - Serving spoon - Vegetable spoon The cutlery is in lightly used but good condition. Traces of wear consist of superficial scratches and some discolouration. See the photos for an impression. All cutlery items are marked on the back with [Year letters A and Z] [Sola] [90] . These letters allow the cutlery to date back to the mid-1930s. This lot will be packaged with care and shipped registered via parcel post, including track & trace.
