Silver-plated Presentation Fireman's Speaking Trumpet, J.F. Curran & Co., New York, NY, circa 1865-1875, domed bell with flower and scroll molded shaped edge, engraved with vignettes of a steam powered pump wagon, crossed ladders with Federal shield, and a jaunty sailboat making way, (the presentation cartouche left blank); all reserved from a ground engraved with acanthus, scrolls, and other stylised motifs, retains one of two eagle head tassel mounts, lacks mouthpiece
