Oil on canvas which is unlined. The canvas is in a good condition, in plane with good tension. The paint layer is stable and secure and in a very good condition overall. There are localised areas of retouchiing and a very thin varnish layer which is even and semi-matte. There are a few chips and losses to the gilding on the frame.
