Skirt 'chao fu' (1) - Linen, Silk - China - 19th century
Excellent silk skirt, woven and embroidered, late 19th century in the Qing period, with the top trim in raw cotton as tradition. It is in very good condition as seen in the photos, threads and embroidery with their bright colors, the decorated medallions are brocades and courtesans. Measurements: 2 panels of 1x28 cm each, waist 1. 27, width of each skirt panel ~1. 25m each. There are no defects, no loose threads, the seams are very good, it is very well preserved due to its age.
