Snuff box - .915 silver - Dionisio Garcia - Spain - Early 20th century
This stunning silver 915 snuff box was made by Dionisio Garcia workshop, in Madrid, Spain, around 1940. It was handmade engraved in Repousse techique, with a nice floral theme and is in excellent condition. Hallmarks: - Five pointed star, in an oval, mark used for silver . 915 in Spain, after 1934; - Amphora in a hexagon, maker mark used by Garcia Dionisio a very well known and appreciated metal artist/silversmith. He was silversmith of King Alfonso XIII (1886-1941) . Will be delivered in a safety package, very well protected.
