A beautiful stock certificate, 1p, measuring 10.75" x 8.25, Atlanta, Georgia, December 30, 1922. Numbered 21, issuing 100 shares at $100 each to James M. West. Signed "B.M. Lacey" as president of the company. With a gold paper seal at the lower left. Decorated with an ornate black border and a large bald eagle. The verso has been left blank.

Accompanying the certificate is an Auditor's Report conducted by Ernst & Ernst. 15pp, measuring 9.25" x 12", Indianapolis, dated August 31, 1923. The report, bound in paper wrappers, contains the Certificate issued by Ernst & Ernst, along with Income and Expense, Sales, Cost of Sales, and Selling, General, and Administrative Expenses records. There is also an Analysis of Surplus and a Reconciliation of Surplus-Deficit.

The stock certificate has flattened folds, with small separations at the edges. Light toning throughout. Minor soiling to the report with a small amount of paper loss to the cover edge. Nash Motors Company was founded in 1916 in Kenosha, Wisconsin, by former General Motors president Charles W. Nash. The Southern Nash Motor Company was based in Atlanta, Georgia, and oversaw the southern distribution of the Nash cars and trucks.
