Sword-sabre of NCO of the Spanish Infantry Army Model 1943. Forged in the Royal Arms Factory of Toledo, as it appears in the inscription at the start of the blade. Closed steel bowl, round and decreasing towards the knob. Fist with wooden squared pattern grips. In the bowl the emblem of the Spanish Army (eagle of San Juan and cross of Santiago) with an imperial crown appears chiselled. This detail and the way of sealing the blade dates the sabre from before 1950. The blade is straight with ricasso, square spine inside to outside, edge and a fuller up to the strong. Nickel-plated iron scabbard with nozzle and a clamp with ring.
