Large and heavy Spanish line cavalry miquelet pistol - model 1789: Caliber: 18mm Barrel length: 32 cm Pistol length: 53 cm Period, Spain, around 1789/1812. Round barrel with thunder sides, attenuated marking on the flat of the tube "regimento de cabalerria de Santiago". Platinum à la Miquelet, all fittings in brass. Non-original walnut frame with large Spanish coat of arms thumb piece. The iron is slightly orange peel. Mechanism in good condition, complete and functional, firm springs.
