enameled gilt copper
height 10 5/8 in.; 27cm.

Condition Report:
There are losses to all four ends of the cross, and around Christ’s legs at the bottom. There is rubbing to the gilding at the high points. Minor loss to Christ’s proper left hand. Minor enamel loss. Warping to the copper throughout. Some greening around the halo. A few minor fissures. Inscribed GILLOT in white ink to the reverse.

Probably listed in Charles Gillot's account book as acquired on 15 April 1901 in Nice (620 Fr);
Probably number 115 (located in the 2nd floor gallery) of the estate inventory of the Gillot Collection, dated April 11, 1903;
