Magnificent sink in decorated Greek Thassos marble with a Latin quotation on the bottom. Provenance: Venice, from an ancient villa, private collection. Period: late 19th century. Two carved ram heads complete this spectacular and unique work. The base features a Latin inscription meaning “water is life" Perfect as medium-sized indoor or outdoor sink, well proportioned and not too heavy. It obviously has already a hole in it.
