Metal nameplate on wooden base identifies the ship. 30" L X 6" W X 25" H. the Star of India, previously known as The Euterpe. Renowned for her speed and endurance sailing the open seas of the Indian Ocean, Atlantic and Pacific Coast of America & said to have been a transport vessel for immigrants, & previously as a slave transport ship.
