Sterling Silver Chased Wall Dresser Mirror And Frame Neo Classic Motif. Measures 26" X 18" Presented Is A Large Elegant Chased Dresser Or Wall Mirror Or Frame In A Beautiful Neo-Classic Motif With Figural Maiden Atop Holding A High Finish Cameo With A Hand Engraved Border. It Has Hallmarks For Austrian 800 Fine Silver, American Standard Sterling Silver Is 925 So There Is Slightly Less Silver In This Alloy, And Has An Excellent High Finish. This Beautiful Mirror Has A Wood Backing And Seems To Have Been Applied In Five Pieces With And Held In Place With Screws Around The Side. The Silver Seems To Have No Dents Or Dings And Only Some Minor Scratches From Gentle Use And Care. It Appears That The Middle Top Portion Back Wood Is Missing What Once Held Either A Portion Of The Stand Or A Hanging Implement. The Mirror Has A Swivel Metal Rod In Back That Is Probably The Remaining Portion Of The Stand. The Mirror Has Some Discoloration And Crackling In The Reflective Surface. This Is A Great & Stylish Piece Excellent For The Collector Or Period Or Silver And Dresser Mirrors.
