Provenance From the estate of the distinguished Rabbi Joshua O. Haberman (1919-2017). Rabbi Haberman was born in pre-war Vienna, Austria. He was attending Vienna's Jewish rabbinical seminary when WWII broke out, and he then left for the United States; he eventually served for 18 years as Rabbi for the Washington Hebrew Congregation.
Condition The four pieces have some small surface scratches and tarnishing to them. The inner rim of the lid of the sugar bowl has some irregularities. The top of the teapot has split on the seam and is inclined.
